Believe it or not, I've actually finished a first draft of my vaporware book - the one on bodybuilding/strength training.
I still won't put a time-table on when it will be available, because there's a few issues I need to work out.
Namely, I have no title.
I completely suck at coming up with things like that on the spot, and it wasn't really an issue until now. The names I've come up with so far are pretty gay:
"The Muscle Book"
"Logical Lifting"
Sean Illes suggested "Built for Show 2" but I feel that's a little risque.
So, basically, uh - lil help?
How about sticking with your Amped Training theme and going from there. I don't know why but Amped Training sticks and that's something you want, something that's going to stand out and also be catchy enough for people to remember. Not trying to be mean but I will give you my honest opinion, I'd easily forget the name Muscle Book or Logical Lifting because it seems common ya' know. I'll do some more thinking on it.
Yeah, I agree with the Amped Training. Or you could use "LOL Whut?" That would be killer.
Make an outrageous claim that you can back up and that will get folks' attention.

HAhaha that's perfect!
The most awsome training book in the world.... ever!
To give a little more information, the target crowd is going to be the 'recreational bodybuilders'
Which means all the folks (male and female) that just 'workout to look good' but really have no idea how to do that - so basically 99% of all people in gyms.
What I'm running into is the brand-recognition thing for sure, but it's also coming down to a problem of marketing
* Chicks are going to see 'muscle' in the title and run the other way
* The 18 year old bros are going to see something about strength training and not realize it's directed towards what they need
And so it goes. There's still several weeks of editing (at least) ahead of me and design and such to handle, so it's not a huge rush. Hopefully something will click.
Maybe something like "The AmpedTraining Guide to Physique Training"?
Amplified Training
Intensify your Workouts
IntenseTraining
Reinforce Your Body
That's all I got, no wonder you are having a hard time, there's so many out there already.
Training Smart: What your fitness magazine didn't teach you
AmpedTraining
cos it fits the homepage
and then you can have a subheading that makes more sense to what its about.
