Seriously.

But I might as well keep a journal here cause...well, you know.

I popped a groin/adductor muscle in my left leg the day before New Years. I was at the bottom of a squat at the time, which was even more fun. At any rate, I've been giving it some substantial breathing room to recover - no lifting to speak of for the lower body.

On top of that, I'm just completely unmotivated to lift weights right now. Combine that with the fact that our gym's been closed for over a week anyway (due to moving - to a worse location by all sounds Fist Shake ) and I've lifted about four times in the last month. Oh well.

What I am doing is trying to keep some ROM on the legs and otherwise do mobility/flexibility crap. Which has mostly meant BW squats and lunges in the morning.

But you never know; I may get the bug again at some point.
That sucks Matt, I didn't realize you injured yourself. Just go for some beer drinking instead Big Grin It's anabolic and will help the injuries heal faster Tongue

What I've done this week:

* Some BW squats earlier in the week
* Eat cake
* Drink some beers

I'm the best role model ever.

It's not even that I'm hurt right now. Combo of gym being closed and just not really giving a damn about lifting.

I go through phases like this every couple of years. I think my body just wants some down-time.
I get like that if I don't have anything to train for. Real morose and blah.
