How much do you need to lose first of all?
13 lbs.
I think the best way to do it would be to eat at maintenance (for resting and lifting) and then add regular cardio on top of that (so you're creating the deficit from cardio). Keep an eye on your volume of course. It is possible to maintain your strength and diet. I do it all the time during my contest prep, I just don't recover as easy Smile
Ok, I was kind of thinking that too...would maybe doing a bit of nutrient timing like eating carbs only around workouts and doing interval work be a good idea too? But still eating at maintenance....
Just diet slowly and you can keep your strength. I have dropped 3 weight classes over the last few months and am still pretty much where I was before. I actually don't believe I've lost any strength, just my gear is now loose and my technique is in the shitter for lifting RRRAAAWWWWW for too long.

By slowly, what do you mean,,,how much of a deficit did you do?

wow, gear is expensive....can you get it altered? Do you go equipped in all events? Assuming you do all three I guess....can get quite expensive which is why I am glad I am only a raw lifter right now...I won't even attempt gear until I reach a certain total and have my form and technique down better. What federation do you lift in Matt?

fuck if I know, didn't really keep track of that. I've been working with Shelby from Troponin and the Troponin guys just count macros and cardio. They don't count calories. Its a carb cycling diet.
LMAO wtf why is Donnajo banned?
LOL probably got bit by the anti spam software
