I've been watching late night TV and now I want a magic bullet. Is the product any good or does it break after 6 months? I think it would be handy to have instead of using the food processor all the time which is a hassle to clean sometimes.

We have one, it's still kicking around but for us it doesn't make enough smoothie, really.
We're much happier using a full-size blender.

they break, big time, if you try and replicate the retards on the adverts. Its great for single-serve shakes. Fuckin awwwwesome
I keep thinking I'll buy one but I love my immersion blender. I use it every day for shakes and such. I worry I'll use the bullet twice and then it'll end up banished to the cupboard.
I'm with Heather. Immersion blenders FTW. I use mine for everything, from blending soups to making jello fluff and smoothies. Plus, since you're just sticking the blender in the pot/dish/cup that you're already using, there's less cleaning up to do.
with the magic bullet, you are drinking it from the cup you mix it in as well.
