Sounds like an awesome weekend.

I have a strongman competition on May 22nd!
yay you!! what are the events?

I benched last night.
5x27.5kg
5x32.5kg
5x36kg

DB bench
5x15x10's (kg)
DB Row
5x15x14kg

light weight but ouch. dumb ass friend of mine walked past and asked why I was using pussy dumbbells. what.ever. I told him to go back to his lat raises and leave me the hell alone.

week isn't going so well.. I ended up having to stay back till 7.30 on tuesday night and didn't get home till 8.30 - Monday and Tuesday night I think are going to be fucked at work, so may need to work around that schedule instead. so I go tomorrow to deadlift.. then I have strongman on Saturday and then OHP on Sunday. heavy load I know.. I shoulda gone tonight. but its not like my lifting is intense at the moment. next week I'm going to try getting up early on Tues and go do some hill sprints, I think I found a hill that might do the trick. and then maybe Thursday morning. or Friday morning. see how I go with the first one.

diets been great though. i made a massive pot of pea and ham soup on the weekend. did I mention that already? its great. roomie has requested white bean and ham.. so am going to do that this weekend.

I deadlifted last night and did some glute ham raises. then did a couple of hours at strongman, first time in almost a year I have! worked up to a 160kg yoke walk and just played around with the axel for a bit, but I'm doing OHP tomorrow so didn't go too heavy. the yoke made me hurt though. this club has no girls in it - I'm the first.. the boys are all nice though and I know half of them already, they are pretty happy cos they wanted a couple of girls. now I gotta try and live up to their hopes. eek!

its not even 11pm and I'm half asleep.

Whoa that sounds like a big day so I'm not surprised you're sleepy. Where abouts is this club?
the log is my nemisis.. I can clean it, can't press it, but I'm gonna work on it. will be able to by the end of the year at least. nice weights other wise, you should find it fairly easy.

this club is in Gladesville... not far from where I live. its the break away from ours when it just stopped. there is a few other clubs around now where we have inter club comps. funnily, remember Ryan, Karls room mate? his brother has got into it and Ryan is too, with the other club, which was also a break away cos it was too far for them to travel, so they finally got their own equipment and started up a new club. We have friendly comps between the two clubs which is nice. there are 3 girls there regularly.
