Yet another advantage to living in Asia: not many fat people to be stuck next to on flights. I think that the Western airlines (American ones in particular) should have rows specially designated for fat people. If you overflow the seat, you get to sit next to another person who overflows the seat. Then we'll see how fast they change their tune.

Char, that is an awesome idea. Fat rows ftw!

One of my associates flies Singapore airways a lot, and says their planes are rather hetrogeneous. Some have the upgraded cabins, some have old school, nearly at teh end of their lives, cabins.

I got one of their modern 777s. First class is awsome, btu the business class are pretty nice. They have a seat sooo wide you could fit one big fat sack o shit on there. And they recline fully, so you can get into a fairly comfortable sleeping position. Never mind the giant assed screen, power plugs, ipod charging and the fantastic food.

I dont know what a lot of other airlines are like, as I have only ever flown, Air New Zealand, Dragon Air, Air China, and Singapore.

You also get slim, well formed, staff....
I heard a rumor that Singapore Air only hires women who scored in the top three in a beauty contest. Don't know if that's strictly true, but it doesn't matter. They could be!
