I haven't been swimming in ages! I used to swim 3x a week as a teenager.
It's one of the few cardios I can stand (spinning classes being a slightly distant second). I actually like swimming, as opposed to just tolerating it.
10 laps on Friday evening...I nearly died. But the old white guy swimming next to me probably doubled that and didn't even look out of breath when he got out of the pool.

I am a huge soul fan and love anything with a good beat! The much respected Lauren Hill, India Arie, Jill Scott, Missy Elliot and Erykah Baduh. The Beatles are my all time favorite, and I love Motown. Ozo Motely, Shakiras "Ojo's Asi" damn that song makes me want to shake it everytime I hear it!! Guitar and harmonies are music to my ears and good lyrics are something I have much respect for.
