As for the cable rows, someone taught me a while back to try and squeeze my back (shoulder blades together) first and then pull. I had a tendancy to use my arms a bit much. Don't know if that helps, if not, nevermind

And yes, I feel like a complete idiot doing front squats in my gym too. But since I've seen exactly one other person doing them, and he uses the cross arm grip, I figure no one can really tell me I'm doing something wrong.

Yall need to check out the shoulder-activation/mobility/scap-strengthening stuff if you can't get the back muscles working in rows.
looked at your db row video on youtube ... (it's ok, i know black people, so i can stalk you on internets, it's cool) ... so
so it looks decent, but your foream should stay perfectly perpendicular to the ground ... you are pulling to the hip, but think of pulling from the elbow and try to leave forearm and bicep out of ... so a tight grip, and puill from the elbow
it becomes more evident when the load gets heavier, because that will be the only way to lift ... btw, you could use a heavier load, manotaur
same with your bb rows
get your hips up a bit more to help get your knees out of the way

to save yoru back, especially since you are using those fucked up octagonal plates (wtf is that, a 24 hr fagness?), turn that set of 3 into a set of 3 singles back to back to back ... rep 1, set it down ... reset (not rest) , rep 2, set down, reset, rep 3
