It's really just vanilla flavouring. You can use vanilla extract or vanilla essence. I like vanilla bean paste because the flavour of vanilla is so strong. I buy it from the supermarket in the same place vanilla extract/essence is kept.

Nope don't have a whole foods or a Wegmanns here..the best I can do in this town is the Kroger organic section.

Vanilla bean paste is probably made from the dregs of the vanilla bean

My agave syrup = "Homebrand" White Sugar
That's the vanilla bean paste I use.
