Because every board needs one. Big Grin

What have you tried and what rating would you give it?

I've been using BSN for a while cos I get them dirt cheap locally.
I'll say up front that I think BSN mixes great and is a wonderful eating protein. By that I mean they're really thick so they're best for eating in oats or yogurt, or used to bake with, but they're not great for standard protein shakes.

Taste test-
BSN Choc-coconut: 8/10. You have to like that combo to like this powder. To me it tastes like a Bounty candy bar so I like it a lot.

BSN Choc fudge: 6/10. I know most people seem to prefer this one to the choc-coconut but I'm not a fan. It takes like a cheap Hershey's bar or something to me. I could be the exception to the rule in this case because most really do think this one is great.

BSN Vanilla: 7/10. I think it's just a standard vanilla flavour and I'll likely go for a cheaper one next time. It's very good for baking with and mixing with fruit but just not worth the price IMO.

BSN Cinnamon roll: 10/10. This stuff is really good for oats and for baking muffins with. The cinnamon flavour is present but not overpowering. I would never use it in a shake but I've made some excellent healthy muffins, cakes, and pancakes using this PP.

Syntrax Roadside Lemonade: 9/10. I really like this stuff. It's a refreshing change from the usual dessert flavours you get in PP. Mixes really well, tastes and smells lemony. Very good mixed with yogurt and also good for baking (I'm made lemon muffins with it). The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it can be a little too tart.

I just got some Cytosport Complete Whey in Vanilla bean flavour. I was after Muscle Milk but that wasn't available. Hoping that the same brand means the same taste. Will update once I've opened it.
I had some inneramour quad protien last night, it taste alright
Muscle Milk Orange Creme - frickin' awesome... 10/10!!!
Their new White Choc Mousse is also good. It tastes more like the best Vanilla protein shake you've ever had than white chocolate. I also give that 10/10

I bought some Optimum Nutrition Egg Nog flavour because I love all things Christmas. I'm a little scared to try it honestly but once I do I'll report back Tongue
True Protein Sampler (Natural)... so far I've tried the Choc Banana flavor.... yummers, BUT I'd recommend adding cocoa powder as the banana flavor takes over

Dissolves with an easy shake

This sounds really good. I'm gonna try that next time. I seem to always be looking for the perfect chocolate protein powder and I'm always disappointed. I always do better with vanilla or fruit flavors.

Yeah I'm not really a fan of chocolate protein powder. I always buy vanilla as my main powder and they get other flavours to change it up now and again. I got burned one time when I bought a huge bag of protein powder really cheap; I didn't think it would be bad as you can't go wrong with chocolate. WRONG, it was sooo bad I wanted to vomit. I used half the bag and had to add all this shit to it to make it drinkable. I ended up throwing the other half out, even though I was a poor student. I just couldn't take it anymore!! Fist Shake

No more Choc Protein powder for me Serious Business.

I have an entire cupboard of partially used tubs of various chocolate protein powders. Why am I afraid to throw them out? I'm not going to use them except in an emergency. So I guess if there is some sort of nuclear holocaust I will be the one with all the crappy chocolate protein powders in the shopping cart wandering the earth looking for other survivors.
aussie based manufacturers tend to make crappy chocolate flavours, cos they want to be all 'natural flavours'

americnas know how to artificial it up and the best chocolates i have had were a mega-gainer (azillion caloires) that I got years ago and one of the HST powders Bryan Haycock was kind enough to send me.
So how shitty would that 20kg lot of unflavored Alacen whey be?

And what's some good options for flavoring it up?
it would taste like whey@!!@

If you can, get some flavour pouches ordered from trueprotein

Otherwise, i get some flavours from the supermarket and make up whatever monstrosity that i feel like. Chocolate, vanilla, caramel etc.... of if you aint afraid of sugar, some milkshake flavours
