I can understand the Beginner's section be a "no flame zone"

but why the Ladies section?

Didn't plan on doing any, but....

The only reason I can give is "Oxygen syndrome" where women feel like they might be subject to being flamed, insulted, embarrassed, whatever.

It may or may not stick, and in fact it's up for debate (much like almost everything else). I felt it might encourage some of the more timid women-folk to feel comfortable posting.

But if it's not a good idea and people don't like it, I'm certainly open to opinions.
